US gets Samsung Galaxy SIII from June 1

Amazon will sell the much awaited Samsung Galaxy SIII, bitter iPhone rival in US from June 1. It will be priced at $800.

This Tab runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system, known for easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets and deep interactivity. It has a wide 4.8-inch display. It has got a16GB SIM-free international version of the S III (blue or white), also known as GT-i9300. It has 1GB RAM and an 8 MP. A lot of Samsung software goodies of course.

The models has a quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos processor, but it is not yet sure if it will be in the US version SIII. And there is no 4G LTE version of the processor. So the carrier-customized Galaxy S IIIs are expected to use a dual-core chip instead, like the Snapdragon S4, which has LTE support, reports PC World.
