LG gets another competitor in flexible display for mobile phones

LG displayed 5 inch  flexible screens prototypes that can be used ion smartphones this year. Samsung is to come with its prototype yet. Now AU Optronics hav announced a 4.3 inch flexible amoled  oled panel at a the Touch Taiwan 2013 conference. These thin screens can be used in phones and are thinner as 0.2 mm and shows a display resolution of 512 pixel per inches.

Nissan connects driver to car via smartwatch

Now this seems to be a serious effort on smartwatch wearable technology. Nissan is reading for introducing Nismo smartwatch that will connect the car driver and the car.

The smartwatch has been designed for Nismo car drivers for now, and is expected to target very specific consumers. He watch connects to the car using your smartphone as a Bluetooth accessory. It can access all the performance related data of the car and share those with the driver. For instance it can collect average speed, fuel consumption data.

It can also capture drivers biometric data like the heart rate.

The company will be showing off this watch at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be organized from 12th to 22nd of this month.
