मंगल पर कचरा मिला
नासा का पर्ज़ेवेरेंस रोवर अब तक मंगल पर जीवन के निशान तलाश नहीं पाया है लेकिन मंगल की सतह पर उसे कचरा ज़रूर मिल गया है.
कार के आकार के इस रोवर को मंगल पर जेज़ेरो क्रेटर के पास पत्थरों के बीच दबा चांदी के कवर जैसा कुछ मिला है. और ये मंगल का नहीं है, ये दरअसल धरती से ही मंगल तक गया है.
स्पेस के अनुसार रोवर को नियंत्रित करने वाली टीम का कहना है कि ये एक थर्मल चादर का हिस्सा लगता है जो शायद रोवर के मंगल की सतह पर उतरते वक्त गिर गया होगा. तापमान कंट्रोल करने के लिए इसका इस्तेमाल किया जाता है.
जिस जगह पर पर्ज़ेवेरेंस उतरा था वहां से कचरा मिलने वाली जगह के बीच का फासला करीब दो किलोमीटर है. तो फिर क्या ये हवा से उड़ कर दूर आया होगा, और पत्थरों के बीच फंस गया होगा.
ब्रिटेन ने खरीदा अपना पहला क्वांटम कंप्यूटर
ब्रिटेन के रक्षा मंत्रालय ने अपना पहला क्वांटम कंप्यूटर खरीदा है.
ये कंप्यूटर ब्रितानी कंपनी ओक्रा कंप्यूटिंग के साथ मिलकर रक्षा क्षेत्र में क्वांटम तकनीक के इस्तेमाल को लेकर काम करेगी.

Google is all set to buy part of HTC’s smartphone business.
HTC has confirmed the deal between the two company in a tweet saying ‘agreement with Google is to drive innovation and future product development in consumer hardware’
In a press release the company has said, ‘agreement is a testament to the decade-long strategic relationship between HTC and Google around the development of premium smartphones.’
HTC has clarified that ‘in addition to the talented and experienced team of professionals, Google will continue to have access to HTC’s IP to support the Pixel smartphone family.’
Google has also welcomed HC to its family with a blog post saying ‘we’ve signed an agreement with HTC, a leader in consumer electronics, that will fuel even more product innovation in the years ahead. With this agreement, a team of HTC talent will join Google as part of the hardware organization.’

In the blog post Senior Vice President (Hardware), Rick Osterloh of the company says , ‘we’re focused on building our core capabilities, while creating a portfolio of products that offers people a unique yet delightful experience only made possible by bringing together the best of Google software—like the Google Assistant—with thoughtfully designed hardware.’
He has also announced that Google would unveil its second generation of products on October 4.
HTC has said that the deal is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The deal is expected to close by early 2018.
कैसा हो सकता है ऐपल का नया आईफ़ोन?
सितंबर की 12 तारीख को ऐपल अपने नए स्मार्टफोन या स्मार्फन्स लॉन्च करने जा रहा है. इस बात की घोषणा ऐपल कर चुका है.
1976 में बनी इस कंपनी ने जून 2007 को अपना पहला आईफ़ोन बाज़ार में उतारा था और इस साल कंपनी आईफ़ोन के 10 साल पूरे करेगी.
ऐसे में कंपनी का नया फ़ोन या फ़ोन्स कैसे होंगे इसकी अटकलें शुरू हो गई हैं और सब जानना चाहते हैं कि कैसा होगा नया आईफ़ोन.
ब्लूमबर्ग के अनुसार कंपनी तीन नए स्मार्टफ़ोन लॉन्च कर सकती है जिसमें से एक प्रीमियम मॉडल होगा.
आईकल्चर का कहना है कि विश्वसनीय सूत्रों ने उन्हें बताया है कि ऐपल के अगले फ्लैगशिप स्मार्टफ़ोन का नाम होगा आईफ़ोन X यानी आईफ़ोन 10. और कंपनी की 10वीं सालगिरह के लिए ख़ास नाम होगा नए फ़ोन का.
वेबसाइट का कहना है कि नए फ़ोन का प्री-ऑर्डर 15 सितंबर से शुरू होगा जबकि शिपिंग 22 से शुरू होगी.
सप्लाई चेन में चल रही अफ़वाहों से आधार पर टाइम ने भी कहा है कि नए फ्लैगशिप फ़ोन का नाम आईफ़ोन X हो सकता है. इस वेबसाइट का फ़ोन का नया और बेहतर प्रोसेसर और इसका डिस्प्ले भी 5.5 इंच ये बड़ा हो सकता है.
दक्षिण कोरिया के ईटीन्यूज़ ने सूत्रों के हवाले से कहा है कि नए फ़ोन में एएलईडी डिस्प्ले हो सकता है. ऐपल सैमसंग के साथ मिल कर 5.85 इंच और 6.46 इंच के साइज़ के डिस्प्ले पर काम कर रहा है.

Telcos argue for revenue-share model with content creators
At an open house session called by Trai on the issue of net neutrality on Wednesday, telecom companies demanded commercial arrangements with content creators to further monetise their mobile networks. The telecom players have been pushing for a share of the advertising pie generated by content companies, saying that they have made investments in network and spectrum.
Sarahah app uploads your contacts, finds Security Ananlyst
The messaging app Sarahah that claims that it “gets honest feedback from your co-workers and friends” got a good response from its users. I see a lot of my Facebook Friends using it to post candid anonymous messages on their timeline.
The app also claims that it “doesn’t steal data”.
But a recent report from The Intercept says the app collects “immediately harvests and uploads all phone numbers and email addresses in your address book.” That means it reads your contacts (numbers and email ids).
According to the news report says a senior security analyst at Bishop Fox, Zachary Julian found that the app was uploading his private data.
It says, his Android phone with Android 5.1.1 was outfitted with monitoring software, known as Burp Suite, which intercepts internet traffic entering and leaving the device, allowing the owner to see what data is sent to remote servers. When Julian launched Sarahah on the device, Burp Suite caught the app uploading his private data.
He checked this with iOS and it was true for the iOS version of the app. He posted a video of his testing the app on Internet, watch it here-
When the story was tweeted by The Intercept, the Founder of the app Zain Alabdin Tawfiq responded to the claims. He tweeted
“Sarahah App asked for contacts for a planned “find your friends” feature.”

टेस्ला और स्पेस एक्स के मालिक इलोन मस्क पहले ही ऐलान कर चुके हैं कि ट्रैफिक जाम की समस्या को सुलझाने के लिए वो सड़कों के नीचे सड़कों का जाल बिछाने की कल्पना कर रहे हैं. इस बारे में उन्होंने इसी साल एक वीडियो भी जारी किया था जिसमें यह बताया गया था कि यह तकनीक कैसे काम करेगी.
इसी महीने टेस्लाराटी ने ज़मीन के नीचे सड़क बनाने की अपनी योजना, यानी 3.2 किलोमीटर की सड़क की एक झलक पोस्ट की है.

Google India confirms Lollipop for Android One handsets
For the Indian users who have purchased the Android One cheap smartphone handsets from Google, they will soon get the new operating system update.
Google has confirmed that it will offer the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system (OS) upgrade for the Android One handsets. On its Google plus page it said “Android One users in India — you’ll be getting the Lollipop update in the next few weeks.”
The Android One was launched in India with the Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Apple Samsung hold same share in smartphone market now
The fight between Apple and Samsung is getting interesting day by day. Now Apple is in straight competition of Samsung in terms of smartphone share in the market.
According to latest data revealed by Strategy Analytics, during the Q4 2014, Apple caught up with Samsung’s growing sale with the latest launch iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Global smartphone shipments grew 31 percent annually from 290.2 million units in Q4 2013 to a record 380.1 million in Q4 2014. Strong growth was seen in markets like China, India and Africa.
Apple shipped 74.5 million smartphones worldwide and captured a record 20 percent marketshare in Q4 2014, increasing from 18 percent a year earlier.
Samsung shipped 74.5 million smartphones worldwide and captured 20 percent marketshare in Q4 2013, dipping from 30 percent in Q4 2013.
Samsung continues to face intense competition from Apple at the higher-end of the smartphone market, from Huawei in the middle-tiers, and from Xiaomi and others at the entry-level.
Reserve price for 2100MHz Band is Rs 3705crore per MHz.
The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister, has approved the proposal of the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) to proceed with auction in 2100 MHz band alongwith 800, 900 and 1800 MHz bands. The Reserve price approved for 2100 MHz Band is Rs 3705 crore pan-India per MHz.
A 5 MHz Block will be offered in all service areas except Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Punjab. Thus a total of 85 MHz in 17 Licensed Service Areas (LSAs) is being put to auction.
The estimated revenues from the auction of 2100 MHz Band are Rs.17555 crore of which Rs.5793 crore is expected to be realized in the current financial year.
Payment Terms
Successful Bidders shall make the payment in any of the following two options:
(a) Full upfront payment within 10 days of declaration of final price or pre-payment of one or more annual instalments; or
(b) deferred payment, subject to the following conditions: (i) An upfront payment; of 33 percent in the case of 2100 MHz band.
(i) An upfront payment; of 33 percent in the case of 2100 MHz band.
(ii) There shall be a moratorium of two years for payment of balance amount of one time charges for the spectrum, which shall be recovered in 10 equal annual instalments. (
(iii) The first instalment of the balance due shall become due on the third anniversary of the scheduled date of the first payment. Subsequent instalment shall become due on the same date of each following year. Prepayment of one or more instalments will be allowed on each annual anniversary date of the first upfront payment, based upon the principle that the Net Present Value of the payment is protected.
Who can apply?
i) Any licensee that holds a Unified Access Service (UAS)/ Cellular Mobile Telephone Service (CMTS) / Unified License (Access Service) UL(AS) / UL licence with authorization for Access Services for that Service Area; or
(ii) any licensee that fulfils the eligibility for obtaining a UL with authorization for AS; or
(iii) any entity that gives an undertaking to obtain a UL for access service authorisation through a New Entrant Nominee as per the DoT guidelines/licence conditions.
